In the Pacific Northwest there are a few things that we have, the ocean, mountains, that lush green PNW forest and well, rain.
Leading up to a photo shoot or wedding it can be tempting to check the weather forecast repeatedly and hope for clear skies. The truth is the weather man is rarely right but the silver lining of “difficult” weather is that it can create dramatic, moody and beautiful backdrops. It may push you out of your comfort zone but the results can be breathtaking.
Kas & Emily were rockstars, literally. Kas & Emily are two very talented musicians that belong to the band Little Crow. A while ago Dallas did a band shoot for Little Crow and later on we were contacted again but this time to photograph their engagement session.
These two are a perfect example of what can happen when you throw all caution to the wind and embrace the weather. As you look through the photographs make sure you play the song below, a City & Colour cover by Little Crow, Emily’s voice will blow you away.

Photographs from this wedding have been published in Rangefinder Magazine and have won the Photography Annual Competition
